Dear community,
Here it is June already and tempus is fugiting. (Corny humor intended). Anyhow, now is the time for all good men and women to step up with servants hearts to consider serving as board members for CCTD. We need a President and Vice President to serve out two-year terms. Look into your hearts to hear God calling you as we need you if you desire to joyfully serve. We will have nominations and an election at our next secuela which is June 17th at Thomaston Covenant Church, 64 Grove Street at the corner of Grove and Clay in downtown Thomaston. Secuela starts at 630 and all members of the community are sincerely urged to attend. We will have a time of fellowship and refreshment with a lot of prayer, singing and joyful discussion. If you have never been, NOW is the time.

Our next board meeting is the following Monday June 20th at which time all the Pescadores are invited to meet for discussion of preparation for the Men’s weekend October 6-9. Again, the meeting will start at the Covenant Church at 630 and again all are welcome and encouraged to attend.

On a joyful note, there was a weekend in May in Ukraine, which is a community where we have brothers and sisters. If a war zone can work for God, why not us? “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” Ephesians 2:10.
